Our Leaders

Mark D. Baxa, M.D.

Dr. Mark Baxa Dr. Baxa is the Medical Director for Professional Image & Laser Care located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Baxa has performed thousands of Hair Transplant (HT) procedures since 1991 using only the most advanced technology. He travels throughout the US and to foreign countries participating in seminars on Hair Transplantation. Dr. Baxa is well known for his reconstructive HT surgery for those who have had "the plug method" and improperly placed grafts. He performs each session himself and uses his own team of nurses and trained technicians to ensure the highest quality.

Dr. Baxa has also had 2 Hair Transplant sessions totaling 3000 grafts/FTU's. He knows first hand how men and women experiencing hair loss suffer and is sensitive to what they want and need from their hair transplant session.

Brenda Stilwell, RN

Brenda Stilwell, RN is the Office Manager and Nurse Specialist for the North Carolina office.

She has over 16 years of experience in Hair Restoration Surgery and cosmetic skin treatments such as photo facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels.

Brenda's medical background includes experience as a staff nurse, head nurse, and occupational nurse educator. She is currently responsible for making sure that the day to day operations run smoothly for the Business, Clinical and Surgical aspects of the office.

Brenda's many years of medical experience and knowledge has been a great asset to the North Carolina office. Her cheerful attitude and confidence helps our patients feel comfortable and secure before their procedures.

Pierre Marquina, CNA

Pierre Marquina is one of our primary Patient Educators and is an Administrative Assistant for our office.

Pierre also serves as a Surgical Technician during hair transplant procedures. He has worked with Dr. Baxa for over 2 years.

Pierre's medical background is a valued asset to our office.

He has designations as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Pierre is continuing his education and is currently enrolled in the School of Nursing.
